I was starting to hate the Magellan Maestro 4250 I got for xmas. Since April, it's been a dud with various frozen screens or not even turning on. Finally took the time to call the Magellan company. Turns out I needed a firmware update that happened...in April! Just goes to prove, need to check firmware when getting a new electronic goody. What a pain! I guess I have to register everything now so I can get the email telling me to get an update.
