Whence Masterpiece Theatre?

For some reason, Masterpiece Theatre on PBS has turned into just "Masterpiece" and is introduced by Gillian Anderson. I guess it's time for the show to be introduced by a woman instead of a really old white dude. Can't wait to watch the further Jane Austen adaptations.

Best show I can't follow

The Wire on HBO ... gritty, intelligently written drama... so intelligent and gritty it is hard to watch.

The word of Heath Ledger's death swept my workplace. He had so much potential for future edgy roles... and he was pretty hot. Reminds me when River Phoenix died too. So much potential gone. So weird to be found naked and dead by your masseuse...
